- SERVICES will NOT warn you if your copy or move command will over-write an
- existing file.
-
- When you command SERVICES to move file(s), SERVICES first copies the file(s),
- then deletes the original(s). Therefore, SERVICES move command will allow you
- to move files from one drive to another.
-
- You MUST have SERVICES.EXE and SETUP_S.EXE in the same path. SETUP_S serves
- two purposes: It creates the file called SERVICES.CFG and it is the program
- that builds the "protection list" for SERVICES.
-
- The "protection list" is a data base of files and their directories that you
- build. Files designated for protection cannot be erased by SERVICES, nor can
- they be re-named by SERVICES, nor can their directory's be re-named by
- SERVICES.
-
- All of the programs that comprise the SERVICES Utility are automatically
- designated for protection. This means you do not have to include their
- names into the "protection list" since SERVICES recognizes them and refuses
- to erase them, SO LONG AS THEY RESIDE IN THEIR INSTALLED PATHS!
-
- If you have down-loaded this package from a BBS, you should be advised that
- the on-line Help program is a seperate archive and you should also down-load
- it.
-
- When you register SERVICES, you will receive SERVICES, version "b". Version
- "b" will reduce itself to 5280 bytes of memory every time you jump into a
- DOS shell or run another program. This means that version "b" will free-up
- enough memory to run just about any other program available, including any
- memory gobbler such as most CAD programs. SERVICES Version "b" requires
- MS-DOS or PC-DOS version 3.0 or newer.
